The Cowichan Land Trust is hosting a Soil Bioengineering workshop with David F. Polster MSc, RPBio, National expert in Plant Ecology. This 2 day workshop will train people on how to use natural features and materials to restore eroding creek banks.

Day 1 will be a classroom session on the technicalities of Bioengineering and Day 2 will be a hands on field work day where people will get to put their knowledge to work on restoring a riparian area on Garnett Creek.

This course is of specific interest to:

• Land Managers

• Volunteers

• Land Owners

• Environmental Services

Workshop cost is $60 and manual (optional) is $20.
