Two of the major waterfowl problems in the Cowichan Valley are:

1) Loss of habitat and concentration of migratory waterfowl on agricultural land

2) Sanitary concerns about resident Canadian Geese (non-migratory)

By bringing local stakeholders together, we will design and implement a successful waterfowl stewardship action plan for the Cowichan Valley.
